About EON Resources Inc.
EON Resources Inc. (“EON” or the “Company”) is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE American”) under the symbol “EONR”. EON is an independent energy company focused on Energy, Oil, Natural Resources, and other aspects of the Energy Industry. Our current focus is as an upstream energy company with producing oil and gas properties in the Permian Basin. Our plans are to maximize total returns to its shareholders by growing through acquisition and through the development and enhancement of onshore oil and natural gas properties in the United States.
Our first acquisition was the Grayburg-Jackson Field (“GJF”) in November 2023 which is a waterflood project that has 550 producing and injection oil and gas wells on ~13,700 contiguous acres located on the Northwest Shelf of the Permian Basin in Eddy County, New Mexico. Our second acquisition was the South Justis Field (“SJF”) in June 2025 which has 208 producing and injection wells oil and gas wells on ~5,360 contiguous acres located in the Permian Basin in Lea County, New Mexico approximately 100 miles from the GJF.
EON has an experienced management team with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. We are excited about the acquisition and our future. More information on the management team can be found under Our Team in the About Us section of this website.
Operations
EON operates oil and gas properties located in the prolific Permian Basin. The Company’s oil recovery methodology is predominately via waterflooding, which is a secondary recovery method to produce incremental oil and gas after production via the primary recovery method from natural pressure diminishes. The waterflood process uses the injection of water into an oil-bearing reservoir for pressure maintenance to produce the incremental oil. The Company is exploring the feasibility of additional wells that could use primary recovery from natural pressure.
